Elizabeth Jane Hurley has been a model and actor in England since the 1980s. In the year 1990 there was speculation that she might be Hugh Grant's lover. Hurley was immediately noticed by the media in 1994 as Grant received worldwide recognition because of the success of Four Weddings and a Funeral. Hurley accompanied Grant at the Los Angeles premiere of the movie wearing a Versace gown that was secured by gold safetypins. The relationship she has had to Estee Lauder has been the highlight of Hurley's career. It offered Hurley her first modeling opportunity when she was just 29 and has employed her as a model for their products, particularly perfumes such as Sensuous Intuition and Pleasures from 1995. In the popular spy comedy films International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1998), Hurley played Vanessa Kensington. Hurley designs and models the brand's eponymous collection of swimwear. A few critics accused it of encouraging homosexual relations however others suggested the song's sexually explicit lyrics were intended to attract male fantasies. I Kissed a Girl was an immediate hit for Perry's album of the same name in 2008. of the Boys in 2008 due to the mix of titillation combined with polished melodicism. Its bouncy, sharp-tongued and bouncy 2nd single Hot N Cold also proving well-loved, the album which Perry composed herself, eventually saw sales of more than three million copies in the United States.
